The hotel's room condition was a huge let down as it could do with a bit of TLC. I was disappointed that there was music on only one night, forcing me to seek entertainment elsewhere. On the positive side, the accessible room was convenient for me.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were of good size and very clean, but the carpet had some hair on it when I arrived, which was a bit off-putting. The service was friendly and helpful overall, although a few staff members were not welcoming. The location was excellent, right in the middle of the city, which was very convenient. The dining experience was lovely, and the facilities were decent. However, the rooms were a little dated, and the view was not impressive. The hotel rooms could do with a face lift, and it was extremely hot all night, but they were still large, clean, comfortable, and nice. Not quite up to 4-star standards though. The service went above and beyond, especially during busy breakfast times, with very polite and friendly staff. The location is excellent for walking around Kilkenny, being as central as it could be with great food options. The dining was good with very attentive staff, but the food could have been hotter. The hotel is well-maintained and enjoyable, though checking in was slightly understaffed, and there was no fridge in the rooms.
